Full Description
Early in the Second World War there was a civil-defence warden’s post (Post ‘E/5’) at 19 London Road. This was an ordinary (or ‘Action Warning’) post, only manned on Action Warning. It seems to have dropped out of use perhaps late in 1940. This building seemingly now no longer exists (was it damaged in the War?).
