Monument record TR 15 NW 861 - Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post at 49 Martyrs’ Field Road, Canterbury
Summary
There was a Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post at 49 Martyr’s Field Road. It may well have been in some kind of rude shelter in the garden, since toward the end of February 1940 an order was made to remove the existing sandbags and make substitute protection.
