Summary
There was a Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post in the garage of t39 Nunnery Road. Sleeping accommodation was provided around the end of December 1940 and around the following February, concrete blocks were supplied as protection against blast. This post was made redundant in a rearrangement of wardens’ posts around April 1943.
