There was a Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post (Post ‘B/10/11’) at 26 Watling Street (Latchmere House). This was an ordinary or ‘Action Warning’ post (only manned on ‘Action Warning’). It seems to have dropped out of use perhaps late in 1940.
