Full Description
From late 1942 there was a store for Canterbury’s wartime Emergency Feeding Centres at Renville Farm, Patrixbourne. Might the proximity of the Elham Valley Railway, and the station at Bridge, have been a factor in the choice of this site? Is the use of a site outside Canterbury related to Canterbury’s then recently established Blitzemerg status.
