Full Description
This was a pillbox on the west side of Bullockstone Road near the north end of Bullockstone village. It presumably covered a permanent roadblock on Bullockstone Road at or near the junction with Owls Hatch Road (the present Thanet Way at this point did not at that time exist). This was pillbox No.6 in the 1940 list of pillboxes in East Kent (2 December); it was in Sector 7 of the area, at the stated Military Grid reference R 610840.
