Summary

By late May 1942 there was a large Second World War heavy anti-aircraft gun emplacement in a field immediately to the north of Hothe Court Farm, equipped with four 3.7 inch guns, and RADAR. It seems likely to have continued in use until labout 1943 or 1944.
