Full Description
Remains, thought to represent a Second World War gun emplacement survive at the eastern edge of Church Wood.  These consist of 'a large concrete block,' in the woodland edge.

The site consists of a raised brick shuttered concrete platform about 3m square with a centrally mounted square pedestal with bolts for mouting a 6 Pdr AT gun. A deep ditch fronts the location which may have been an original AT ditch.(2)
