Full Description

By 20 May 1942 There was a heavy anti-aircraft gun emplacement (designated CN2 ‘Chartham’), comprising four 3.7 inch guns and GL Mk IA RADAR, in a field to the east of Upper Horton Farm. It was probably established here in defence of Canterbury on the eve of the 1942 raids.
