Full Description

By late 1941 there was a Second World War roadblock at the west end of Church Street St Paul’s. A Kent Messenger Group historical photograph (see sources) shows the concrete pimples on the north side of Church Street St Paul’s at its junction with Broad Street. This was part of the defences of the Inner Perimeter of the Canterbury Fortress
