Full Description

A road block (No. 64) was listed in the vicinity of the junction between Broad Oak Road and Vauxhall Road, among permanent road blocks in the 43 Divisional area existing at the end of November 1940. This was probably on the Broad Oak Road, although it is just possible it may equate a roadblock, known to have existed by February the following year, at the bridge near this end of Vauxhall Road (see separate entry).
