Monument record TR 15 NE 891 - Second World War fortified house mid way along St George’s Terrace, Canterbury

Summary

By mid September 1941, four fortified houses had been established in buildings on St. George’s Terrace; this was the westernmost of these but one. The Terrace was burnt out during the first Baedeker Raid, of mid 1942, and subsequently demolished.
