Monument record TQ 76 NW 725 - An 18th century stone-lined well
Summary
An 18th century stone-lined well was exposed during building works when a floor was lifted. The shaft was constructed using Ragstone with some chalk blocks. It was evidently filled in when the building was extended over its location; material from the upper levels of the filling dated to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
