Full Description
An archaeological watching brief at Rochester Castle on the installation of new information boards. Of the 2 trenches dug, one found either a disturbed yard surface or, more likely, demolition debris from the main gate. A solid flint surface was also found, it was most likely to the rear of the gate, rather than within the gate passage (1).
