Full Description

From the report:
"An irregular pillbox in concrete with redbrick facings. The rear wall is longer than the others and contains the entrance with an embrasure (firing slits) to each side of it. It is located on the north side of Twitham Hill in the middle of an arable field. The internal 'Y' shaped walling which was to prevent ricocheting bullets is still present. The walls are about 1 foot thick. The rear wall is approximately 12ft (3.65m) long, the other walls being 6ft to 8ft (1.8m to 2.4m) in length. Walls are often about 1ft thick (0.3m), although many pillboxes of this type have walls up to 3ft (0.9m) in thickness" (1).
