Full Description
A brick built structure, 20.5m x 6m, by the road at the main gate of Snowdown Colliery. It was used to house the archives in 1981. The presence of slightly more decorative elements in the brickwork suggest that the building may have been one of the earlier buildings on the site, predating the 1920s re-organisation. The chimneys also suggest it was a heated building and perhaps therefore an office (1).
