Full Description
The source describes the first reference of this mill as being in 1585. Possibly the mill of the manor of Berstead referred to in the thirteenth century as it was on the Parish boundary. It was in use until 1838 when it was bought by Lord Romney to allow the north end of the lake to be constructed.
