Full Description
During a watching brief at Eastry School, ahead of a new classroom extension being built, a number of flint flakes, cores and sherds of flint-tempered pottery were found.
The material was found in a plough soil above the sub-soil and in plough marks in the subsoil. This suggests that there was prehistoric activity in the area but no trace in the form of identifiable archaeological features remains on the site.
