Full Description
16th? century well. (TQ 53165429). A possible 16th century well is reported as being situated on the corner of the High Street and Knole Lane outside Sevenoaks School. The centre of the well is situated 10 ft 3 ins from the gate pillar and 6 ft from the edge of the road. The well is approximately 3 ft in diameter and is brick lined. A gas main 3 ins wide runs through the middle of it. (1)
