Listed Building record TR 34 SW 906 - CINQUE PORT ARMS

Summary

Originally two separate public houses, later amalgamated. The western part is of early-C17 date, first refronted by the early-C19, then the south front and roof structure were replaced in the early-C20. The eastern part was rebuilt c1900 and is of lesser value. The building plot retains one of the earliest plot and street alignments for the earliest settlement of this area in the post Medieval period.
