Listed Building record TR 14 NW 3 - St Bartholomew's Church, Waltham

Summary

The nave is Norman with some 13th century and some 14th century windows. The chancel tower and porch are 13th century the tower restored in 1808 but with 13th century and 14th century foundations. 18th century west gallery. There is strong evidence to suggest that Waltham was a minster in a secondary wave of minster creation in the 8th to mid 10th centuries.
