Full Description

[TR 19564468]. Neolithic core axe or pick of black flint found Dreal's Farm, Elham. Find spot pointed out by finder close to field boundary fence (south) just north of Dreal's Farmhouse which the field adjoins. [Jenkins' map reference: TR 197 446 does not agree with description]. (1)

The findspot was indicated by Mr K. R. Beeching at TR 1964 4466. The implement has been presented to the Royal Museum, Canterbury, but has not been given an accession number. It was found after ploughing. (2)
