Full Description
[TR 16244078]. On exhibition in St. Mary's Church, Lyminge, is a small "bronze Roman pin found in the garden of The Springs, below the New Rectory at the end of Rectory Lane. Presented by Mr C. Clark" (a). The present owner of The Springs (formerly the Vicarage), Mr Moggs, confirmed that Mr Clark owned the property until the last war when he sold up and moved away. He had since died. Mr Hoggs does not know the exact findspot nor when the pin was discovered. (1)
