Full Description
Observations were carried out in the north-east of the present school were topsoil was removed for the construction of a car parking area. In this area inclusions of flint were found including some flakes from the working of flint.
Cuttings were also made for the foundations of an extention on the east side of the exsisting school. These trenches penetrated the chalck bedrock which contained soltuion or peri-glacial features.
