Listed Building record TR 14 SE 38 - Acrise Place
Summary
Grade II*. This house dates from two periods. The original portion, the northern range (except the west end), was built by the Hamon family in the 16th century. This was altered and greatly enlarged to the south in the 18th century by the Papillon family who acquired the house in 1666. The only portion of the exterior still showing 16th century work is the east or main portion of the north east or entrance front. The interior of the southern portion of the house has a good late 18thcentury staircase and contemporary chimney pieces.
