The lynchet lies on the south-west facing scarp slope of the North Downs. OD 130-140m.

Cropmarks of a possible field system, Brabourne Downs, consisting of ditches dividing the steeply sloping land up into square enclosures c.100m across. Some more complex patches possibly indicating more intensive use of the site within the field network.
A possible ring ditch is visible on one of the field boundaries towards the western edge of the field.
