Full Description
Four concrete emplacements forming a Cold War anti-aircraft site at East Malling. They were probably equipped with 3.7 inch guns.
Most likely an Igloo 1 site, built after the Second World War but before the demise of anti-aircraft artillery as a defence system in 1956. The site is not visible on aerial photos of the area taken in 1946 but appears, perhaps disused, on aerial photos of 1961.
