Full Description
Site utilised by the R.A.F from 1939-1946. Site known as R.A.F Snodland and was used as an Air Ammunition Park (AAP). Storage of munitions in the south-west of Lee's Pit, apparently in store houses with slate roofs - these demolished in 1946. Some ancillary structures survive, including small corrugated iron structures. (1)
