Full Description
Excavations undertaken around the White Horse Stone site in the Medway Valley between Oct 1998-Mar 1999 by Oxford Archaeology. The site consisted of three areas along the CTRL line; from west to east: the ‘White Horse Stone site’, the ‘Pilgrim’s Way site’, and the ‘West of Boarley Farm site’.
There was another decline in activity in the late Neolithic / early Bronze Age, with only a few (primarily residual) Beaker sherds, and a few sherds of Collared Urn, scattered across the site. (1)
