Full Description
A large, rectangular 2-storey dwelling, originally 3 bays wide. Probably ca. 1830, extended to both sides before 1876 Ordnance Survey. Yellow stock brick in Flemish bond displays the phasing of the building through some variation in colour. Six-over-six timber sash windows, regularly placed within each bay but some irregular sizing. Door located in the right-hand original bay with rectangular fanlight and Doric portico. Door itself is a Victorian or Edwardian replacement. Hipped roof originally in slate, now in concrete tiles. Multiple brick chimney stacks. Set back in a front garden now used for car parking. (1)
