Several Roman bronze brooches from Stowting (TR 1241) are in the British Museum, including one Hod Hill type (early 1st century AD), two late 2nd/early 3rd century types and four crossbow brooches with heavy knobs (4th century types). One is trumpet shaped, Collingwood Group R (early 2nd century) Accn No 1904.6-28.2, and the other a bronze P-shaped brooch of developed crossbow type, Collingwood Group T (2nd-3rd century) Accn No 1904.6-28.5.
