Summary

Former Grade II listed building. The site of a Post Medieval timber framed house, built in the 17th century and sub-divded into cottages circa 1800. The building was partly weatherboarded, with a steeply-pitched hipped, tiled roof. It is thought that the house was demolished between 1969-1974 and a new building was erected on the site

The cottages incorporate parts of an older timber-framed building of three bays, probably C17. Converted to cottages c1800.

C17 or earlier. A timber-framed range with curved braces visible on the side
elevation. The front elevation is weatherboarded on the first floor and stuccoed
on the ground floor, the rear elevation has a brick ground floor. Steeeply
pitched hipped tiled roof with off centre chimney stack and right side outside
chimney stack. Three simple doorcases. Listing NGR: TQ9434034934 (1)

The building is thought to have been demolished in around 1969 to make way for a new house.
