Full Description
Ministry of Works Camp, Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe. WWII PoW camp. Demolished. Designated as a German Working Camp. (1) a building is visible in this location on the fourth edition OS map of the area (2)
A Second World War prisoner of war camp at Swanscombe Street (TQ 605 739), known as Camp 154 or Ministry of Works Camp. It functioned as a German work camp. The camp has since been removed and is currently occupied by housing. (3)
