Full Description
Hall house built in the medieval period with late 17th century alterations. The house as it now stands is the remaining cross-wing of the hall. The hall was partly demolished after 1945. (1)
From a Department of the Environment assessment regarding former candidates for Grade III listing dated 31/07/1972 (held by Ashford Borough Council):
Marshalls: an L shaped C16 timber-framed house with plastered front largely rebuilt and painted in imitation of timbering. 3 storeys. One window facing the road the first floor overhangs on brackets. On the first floor is an oriel window with a cove beneath.
