Monument record TR 15 NE 137 - Roman Building

Summary

Two Roman buildings were excavated opposite St George's Church; at the end of the 2nd century a timber framed building was constructed and replaced c AD 240- AD 250 by a masonry house with an apsidal end which continued in use until late into the 4th century.
