Summary

Reredorter or common latrine at St Augustine's Abbey, constructed after 1099. No part of this building is visible today. William Stukely shows fragments of its lower walls in a drawing of 1722. Its dimensions are given in documentary sources as 193 feet long by 24 feet wide.
