The following IA coins, found during the Canterbury Excavations, 1946-57 (directed by SS Frere) are held by Canterbury Mus (Acc No 8422-8443):- 4 Cunobelin AE 4 Gallo-Belgic AE 1 British uninscribed AE Cantii 2 Dubnovellaunos AE 3 Eppillus AE 1 Tasciovanus AE 5 Tin coins (one fragmentary) 1 Belgic, blank 1 Belgic AE, illegible The register (a) allocated each a distinguishing symbol but until the excavation plans are published these are meaningless and the coins must remain unsited.
