Full Description
(TR 14545743 sited to Castle). Roman stamped tile found in April 1940 at Canterbury Castle. It was found on a small mound of earth beside excavations of medieval foundations adjacent to the wall of the keep on the Castle Street side. The tile is now in the Royal Museum, Canterbury. (1)
