Full Description
A Roman mortar-lined drain, associated with clay floors, and several early Roman pits were recorded beneath the kitchen extension at No 17 St Mary's Street [TR 14715754 - sited from OS 1/1250 1974]. A large assemblage of Belgic and Roman pottery was recovered. (1)
