TQ 6541 6583 (sic) Farningham, Charton Farm, October 1970. A metalled surface, perhaps part of a Romano-British branch road, was uncovered during operation Gaspipe. (1) [Charton Farm is centred at TQ 5560 6653] The grid reference given forthis site by KARU site no SV 79 is TQ 5645 6583. (2) [This site may be related to TQ 56 NE 27 or 47]
