[TR 18535377] Lynchet [NR] (1) A rampart and ditch in Bourne Park, not far from the road leading up Bridge Hill, is called "Old England's Hole". (2) "Old England's Hole" is an old overgrown chalk pit with the hollow- way of the Canterbury - Dover Roman Road (RR 10) beside it. (3)
