Monument record TR 15 SE 16 - Early-medieval burial (? cemetery), Burstead Wood, Upper Hardres

Summary

Possible Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery indicated by three inhumations, one accompanied by a spearhead, found by chalk diggers in Bursted Wood, Bishopsbourne, in 1749. In 1751 beads and a glass patera were also found.
