Monument record TR 15 SE 26 - A small Roman cemetery dating from the late 3rd or 4th century onwards
Summary
A small Roman cemetery dating from the late 3rd or 4th century to the 5th century alongside Watling Street excavated in 1973. Four cremations and thirteen inhumations were found all orientated northwest to southeast. Grave goods consisted mainly of pottery vessels.
