Full Description

[Area TQ 456566] (2) Possible earthworks and cultivation strips on Hogtrough Hill, near the Brasted-Cudham boundary, are reported by T.G.F. Holliday. (1) A series of positive and negative lynchets, 1.0 - 4.0m in height, contained within one large field on the lower south-facing slopes of the North Downs.(3) They are probably of medieval or later date and merely represent former subdivisions of the field; some are shewn as such in 1845 (4-5). Seen as a cropmark (6)
