Full Description
[TQ 5410 6879] Long. O<o> 12' 55", Lat. 51<o> 23' 48", Roman building debris and pottery fragments were found covering an area of 50 sq. yds. in an orchard known as 'Canada' near Farningham Woods at 300ft. O.D. (1-2) The area indicated is at the junction of a dead orchard and the most northerly point of Farningham Wood. With the exception of a few scraps of Roman brick found in a track at TQ 5412 6868 no further evidence was gained. (3)
