No 5 The Street (Old Hall) Petham. Grade II*. (Sited to TR 12775143 from HHR map) C14 former open hall having a separately roofed cross- wing with kitchen below and solar above. C17 fireplace with bread oven. C17 doors with battlemented surrounds. Grade II* for antiquityand interior features. (For full description see list). (1)

2. C14 former open hall having a separately roofed cross-wing with kitchen below and solar above. Plaster and painted brick infilling, the first floor of the south-westernmost window bay tile hung and oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists, a bracket and a modern buttress. One small bay to the north-east of this with a gabled dormer over. Thatched roof now entirely replaced with tiles but retaining smoke gablets. Two casement windows. Ground floor has in addition 2 of the original mullioned window openings. Small C19 gabled porch. Interior has roof of collar purlin type with top of crown post only surviving. Dragon beams at south-east and south-west corners. C17 fireplace with bread oven. C17 doors with battlemented surrounds. Grade II* for antiquity and interior features. Listing NGR: TR1276651432 (1)
