An E.I.A. site at Hampton, Herne Bay, consisted of hearths associated with fragments of coarse, gritty, well-baked pottery, flakes, cores, scrapers, pigmy flints, calcined flints and hammer stones. A selection of flints and sherds together with animal teeth and oyster shells, part of the Armstrong Bowes Collection, is on exhibition in Herne Bay Museum.
