Full Description

A perforated hammer stone, four and a half inches in length, was found at Hampton End, Herne Bay, by Mrs. Stock, Sea Esplanade Bungalow, Herne Bay. Donated to the Royal Museum, Canterbury, 16.4.26. On exhibition, Acc. No. RM 7793. (1). Neither a Mrs. Stock nor a Sea Esplanade Bungalow can be located in Herne Bay. Local directories, the police and local museums have been consulted but no further information can be obtained regarding the finder or the findspot (2). Additional references (3-6).
