Full Description
On exhibition in Herne Bay Museum is a BA (? child) burial group, c.800 BC, consisting of an incense cup and small urn found 11.2.1932 in Brett Pit, Den Grove Wood, Sturry. In 1937 LBA/EIA potsherds were found in the same pit and are also on exhibition, part of the Armstrong Bowes Collection. Brett Pit, centred at TR 17436065, is now disused and no further finds are reported from the area. (1)
