Full Description
[TR 17976053] Well [NR] (1) A 16th century cistern which formerly supplied Sturry Court (later Milner Court - see TR 16 SE 21) and was last used by villagers in 1921. (a) It is constructed of brick with a barrel roof and a round-arched doorway at the west end. A large tree grows over the cistern and part of the roof has collapsed; the brickwork has been much restored with modern brick. There is a disused iron pump.
